LinkedIn Post Formatter

A writing desk built for LinkedIn: select words to make them bold or italic, add bullets and spacers, watch the limit gauge, and see where the feed will cut your text. Feed posts collapse behind a “…more” link after roughly the first 210 characters (less on mobile).

Runs 100% in your browser · nothing you enter is uploaded

How to use it

  1. Write your post in the editor.
  2. Select text and use the toolbar for bold, italic, underline or bullets.
  3. Check the preview and the limit gauge, then copy the finished post.

Questions

Is my draft saved?

Your current draft is stored only in this browser (localStorage) so a refresh doesn’t lose it. Nothing is uploaded.

What is the LinkedIn limit?

LinkedIn allows 3,000 characters. The feed truncates after about 210 characters.

Why use Unicode instead of real formatting?

LinkedIn strips rich text from pasted posts. Unicode styled letters are plain text, so they survive.
